The Ludwig Neurodegenerative Disease Seed Grants Program was first established by Michael E. Greenberg, Professor of Neurobiology and Mark Namchuck, Executive Director of Therapeutics Translation. at Harvard Medical School, in 2022 generously sponsored by The Carol & Gene Ludwig Family Foundation.

The mission of the Ludwig Neurodegenerative Disease Seed Grants Program is to fuel discovery towards new therapies for neurodegenerative conditions, with a specific interest in Alzheimer’s Disease. The program aims to foster a dedicated community of researchers, award recipients, and trainees.
